this is my first return to Polyend Tracker since I got the M8 Tracker in November. I was expecting it to be awkward, since I far prefer the M8 Tracker, but I was surprised at how much the Polyend Tracker still offers. Perform Mode in particular is such a killer way to mess up and mangle tracks to heart's content, and I make thorough use of it throughout, in combination with looping and unlooping sections in Song Mode. funny enough, it seems like I really taxed the processor, as my first performance ended up glitching and artifacting everywhere before freezing up the machine entirely. This is my second take, and halfway through it started doing the same thing (you can hear this disarray in the track) but I managed to rein the performance in enough that it didn't freeze.
Polyend Tracker -> live recorded into M8 Tracker and played back with woozy sampler settings -> rendered into Bitwig for final mixing/mastering/etc.
